Importing contacts from Intelliflo

Once the Intelliflo connector is set up, you can import your client contacts directly into Prospo - including KYC data like date of birth, employment status, annual income, and target retirement age.

The Intelliflo connector must be configured by your Org Admin before you can import. See Connecting Intelliflo.


Select contacts to import

  1. Go to Contacts - Import Contacts
  2. Select Intelliflo from the source list
  3. Prospo fetches your clients from Intelliflo - select the contacts you want to import using the checkboxes
  4. Click Next: Map Clients

If you see "Intelliflo Connector Disabled", ask your Org Admin to enable it in Admin - Connectors.


Map contacts to clients

For each contact, choose how it should be linked to a Prospo client record:

  • New Client - creates a new client record linked to this contact. Set the client name, entity type, and relationship type.
  • Link Existing - links the contact to a client already in Prospo. Search by client name.
  • Skip - imports the contact without linking to a client. You can link them later from the contact's detail panel.

Click Import when done.


What gets imported

  • Client name - Contact name
  • Default email address - Email (required - clients without a default email are skipped)
  • Mobile or telephone - Phone
  • Date of birth - Date of birth (KYC)
  • Employment status - Employment status (KYC)
  • Total annual income - Annual income (KYC)
  • Intended retirement age - Target retirement age (KYC)
  • Title - Title
  • Occupation - Job title

Only individual person records are imported. Trusts, corporate entities, and other non-person record types are excluded automatically.


Duplicate detection

If an imported contact matches an existing Prospo record by email or name, Prospo flags it before completing the import. Choose Merge to fill in missing fields on the existing record, or Create as New to add a separate record.

Import summary

Once complete, you'll see a confirmation showing how many contacts were processed - for example: "6 contact(s) processed successfully! 1 merged, 5 created. 4 contact(s) linked to clients."

If any client links failed, you'll be prompted to add them manually from the contact's detail panel.
