Viewing a client's SMS conversation history

Every SMS sent to a client through Prospo is recorded in the Sent Messages panel on the client's SMS page, giving you a chronological record of all outbound messages.


View the history

  1. Open the client's profile
  2. Click Send SMS from the client actions menu
  3. The Sent Messages panel on the right shows all SMS messages sent to that client


What each message shows

  • Contact name - the recipient the message was sent to
  • Status - SENT, DELIVERED, or FAILED
  • Date and time - when the message was sent
  • Message body - the full text of the message
  • Phone number - the number it was sent to

Messages are sorted with the most recent at the top.


Message statuses

  • SENT - the message was accepted and queued for delivery
  • DELIVERED - delivery confirmed by the carrier
  • FAILED - the message could not be delivered

A few things to know

  • The history shows outbound messages only - replies from the client are not currently displayed
  • Messages are tied to the client record and remain visible even if the contact's phone number is later changed
  • SMS history is also captured in the client's activity history as part of the full interaction log
