Linking a contact to a client

A contact can be linked to one or more clients with a defined relationship type. You can do this from the contact's detail panel or from the client profile.
From the contact detail panel
- Go to Contacts and select the contact
- In the right panel, scroll to Linked Clients and click Link to Client
- Search for an existing client or create a new one, select the relationship type, and click Link Client


From the client profile
- Open the client profile and click Actions in the Linked Contacts panel
- Select Link Contact, search for the contact by name or email, choose the relationship type, and confirm
Setting a primary contact
Each client can have one primary contact - the person Prospo defaults to when sending emails or meeting invites. Tick Set as Primary Contact when linking or editing the relationship. If someone is already set as primary, Prospo will ask you to confirm the change.
Unlinking a contact
To remove the link between a contact and a client without deleting either record, open the client profile, click the Unlink icon next to the contact in the Linked Contacts panel, and confirm. The contact stays in Prospo and can be linked to other clients.
