Disconnecting Microsoft 365

2 min read

You can disconnect Microsoft 365 at two levels: a user can remove their own account, or an Org Admin can disconnect the entire organisation's integration.

Disconnect your personal Microsoft account

This only affects your own connection. Other team members and the organisation's integration remain active.

  1. Go to Settings - Integrations
  2. Find Microsoft Outlook and click Disconnect
  3. Confirm the action

After disconnecting:

  • You can no longer create Teams meetings through Prospo
  • You can no longer import your personal Outlook contacts
  • You will no longer receive automatic recording or transcript imports

Meetings, transcripts, and recordings already in Prospo are not affected.

Disconnect the organisation (Org Admins)

This removes Prospo's access to your entire Microsoft tenant. All users in your organisation will lose Microsoft 365 features.

  1. Go to Admin - Connectors
  2. Find the Microsoft 365 card and click Disconnect
  3. Confirm the action

After disconnecting:

  • The entire Microsoft 365 integration is disabled for your organisation
  • All users lose the ability to create Teams meetings, import Outlook contacts, and receive automatic recording imports
  • Webhook subscriptions that deliver automatic recording notifications are removed from Microsoft's end

All data already in Prospo - meetings, recordings, transcripts, imported contacts, and files - remains untouched. Files stored in SharePoint stay in SharePoint; Prospo simply loses access to that storage location.

Turn off individual features without disconnecting

If you only want to disable a specific feature, Org Admins can use the toggles in Admin - Connectors - Microsoft 365:

  • Turn off auto-recording to stop new Teams meetings from recording automatically
  • Turn off Outlook contacts import to prevent users from importing Outlook contacts
  • Turn off email to disable the Outlook email feature

Disabling individual features does not remove any tokens or stored data. The integration can be re-enabled at any time.
