Connecting WorkSorted

Connect your organisation's WorkSorted account to Prospo to enable client and contact imports. Setup works in two parts: an Org Admin configures credentials once, then each user authorises their own WorkSorted account via OAuth.


Org Admin: Configure WorkSorted credentials

This step is done once for your whole organisation. It gives Prospo the credentials needed to initiate the OAuth flow for your users.

  1. Log in as an Org Admin and go to Admin - Connectors
  2. Find WorkSorted and click Set up
  3. Enter your organisation's WorkSorted Client ID and Client Secret
  4. Click Authorise

Your Client ID and Client Secret are available in your WorkSorted account settings. Contact your WorkSorted administrator if you're not sure where to find them.

Once saved, users in your organisation can connect their own WorkSorted accounts.


Each user: Connect your WorkSorted account

After the Org Admin has configured credentials, each user connects their own account when they first import contacts.

  1. Go to Contacts - Import Contacts
  2. Select WorkSorted from the source list
  3. Click Connect to WorkSorted
  4. Sign in to WorkSorted and authorise Prospo
  5. You'll be returned to the import dialog with your contacts loaded

Your connection is maintained automatically - Prospo refreshes your access token in the background so you won't need to reconnect unless something changes.


If your connection expires

If your WorkSorted connection lapses, you'll see a prompt when you next try to import. Click Connect to WorkSorted and complete the authorisation again.


Disabling the WorkSorted connector (Org Admins)

To disable WorkSorted for your organisation without removing credentials:

  1. Go to Admin - Connectors
  2. Use the toggle on the WorkSorted card to disable it

Users won't be able to import from WorkSorted until it's re-enabled. Re-enabling restores access without needing to re-enter credentials.


Troubleshooting

  • "WorkSorted Connector Disabled" - Your Org Admin has disabled or not yet set up the connector. Ask them to configure it in Admin - Connectors.
  • Redirected to an error after authorising - Your session may have expired. Return to the import dialog and try connecting again.
  • "Could not refresh WorkSorted token. Please reconnect." - Your authorisation has expired. Click Connect to WorkSorted to re-authorise.
